Synopsis "Hourglass"

Two intrepid teenagers seek to survive a perilous world in which the risk of death is an everyday reality. While residing within a structure called the Mansion, the first young girl grows ever more restless as her heart longs for meaning and freedom outside of her present life. The oppressive walls of the Mansion form the only home she's ever known, but for her and the several hundred occupants within the Mansion, their fortified existence is as suffocating as it is vital. Grotesque creatures roam outside their fortress, haunting their every step and promising a fate worse than death. The second teenager travels with a ragged party of survivors across an unforgiving wilderness after their own walled compound is destroyed. The teen's uncle leads them on their journey to discover a new life while avoiding the relentless beasts hunting them. Despite palpable threats at every turn, the second teen finds the most pressing harm to be her father's smothering, protective shadow, which threatens her quest for independence at every turn. As the danger grows and more deaths toll, both girls will face their own unique realities head-on.
