Marco never knows how to choose between a cone or a cup, he never gets the right answer at the right time and he always leaves everything half done. Studies, dreams, relationships. The only stable presence in his life is Maria, with whom he got engaged in his last year of the high school. She's a secretary in a law firm, he works as a video operator with Iacopo, a bizarre producer of pornographic films. However, she doesn't know this, because Marco is convinced that lying is equivalent to protection.

In a few years, he'll become a partner of Capriccio Production, one of the most promising Italian hard film productions, founded by Iacopo. The game will hold up as long as the porn market doesn't change.

Bankrupt and abandoned by Maria, who finds out the truth in the meantime, Marco wonders if the compromises made until this moment with his affections and his own morals have really made sense. All that he would like to do is to save that future in which, after all, neither he nor Maria seem to have stopped believing.

A story as explicit as delicate, between the sacred and the profane, it reminds us how being an adult, after all, means above all saving and protecting one's feelings, day after day, for all the time we have left.
