Heutzutage werden Probiotika auch zu einem integralen Bestandteil der Aquakulturpraktiken, um eine hohe Produktion zu erzielen, und die Verabreichung von Probiotika an Fische über das Futter hat sich als vielversprechende Kontrollma nahme in Fischzuchtbetrieben erwiesen.
