Synopsis "Immunopharmakologische Wirkung einer Arzneipflanze (in German)"

Die vorliegende Studie zielt darauf ab, die immunmodulatorische In-vitro-Aktivität des ethanolischen Blattextrakts von Avicennia officinalis gegen stressinduzierte Psoriasis zu untersuchen. Die Blätter der Mangrove wurden zunächst einer hydroalkoholischen Extraktion mit 70%igem Ethanol unterzogen, gefolgt von einer Fraktionierung auf Basis der Polarität mit 5 verschiedenen Lösungsmitteln, nämlich n-Hexan, Chloroform, Ethylacetat, Ethanol und hei em Wasser. Des Weiteren wurde es einer GC-MS-Analyse für das Screening der Phytokonstituenten unterzogen und die immunmodulatorische Wirkung des 70%igen ethanolischen Extrakts wurde mit dem (NBT) Nitrobluetetrazolium Assay, dem Candidacidal Assay und der phagozytotischen Bewertung untersucht. Das phytochemische Screening zeigte die im hydroalkoholischen Extrakt vorhandenen Inhaltsstoffe und wurde notiert. Schlie lich zeigte der hydroalkoholische Extrakt eine immunmodulatorische Wirkung durch die Immunsuppression von Leukozyten und Neutrophilen, die gegen Psoriasis wirksam ist. Die Ergebnisse der vorliegenden Studie belegen die immunmodulatorische Wirkung von Avicennia officinalis im Bereich der Psoriasis.
