It is essential to note that childhood mortality has been declining more rapidly in the last decade than it did two decades ago. For example, the decline was 3.2% annually from 2000 to 2011, compared with a 1.8% per year in the period of 1990 to 2000. The UNICEF has stated that this drop indicates that the foreign aids do work while many countries have struggle against poverty, thus getting richer. Low income countries such as Bangladesh, Liberia and Rwanda; middle income countries including Brazil, Mongolia and Turkey and high income countries such as Oman and Portugal have all made dramatic gains, lowering their under-five mortality rates by more than two-thirds between 1990 and 2012. Scientific researchers have also noticed that there are sensitization about the importance of breastfeeding and the health programs that help to immunize the global population...
