Il risultato è stato un effetto significativo sul tasso di gestazione e non significativo sul tasso di embrioni. I risultati ottenuti nell'androgenesi e nell'incrocio intergenerico con il mais non sono correlati, e i genotipi che non rispondono bene a un metodo possono dare buoni risultati con l'altro.
