Synopsis "Joe Two Dogs"

Joe Two Dogs is a prequel to Dancing in the Jungle and Toponas, the lion awakens. It begins with Anderson as a teenager, growing to manhood. His life would have been easy and tranquil had it not been for the girl. She abandons him, and he takes to the road for several years, bumming his way across America. Not caring any longer about his welfare he joins the Army. The Vietnam War is raging, and he assumes they well soon send him there. He hopes to make it into Special Forces. He does not realize the Green Beret is hard to come by. Yet, for a reason beyond his grasp, he makes it through the brutal physical and mental tortures to which he is subjected. Strangely, instead of Vietnam, he is sent to Thailand, an easy assignment ... or so he thinks. He finds himself working for the CIA as a clandestine operative training Laotian and Hmong tribesmen. He, his Teammate, Buff, and six Hmong are sent into North Vietnam to gather intelligence on the Trail. Getting back becomes a Herculean and impossible effort until Joe Two Dogs hears of his plight. Short bio with picture Jacob was a Special Forces Green Beret during the Vietnam war. After his tour of duty, he came home to his wife Janie, and together they pursued an education. They both obtain masters degrees. Sadly, his was not English. So be kind.
