Bernardita Muñoz Chereau, born in Santiago, Chile in 1975, is a distinguished educational psychologist, researcher, and writer of children's literature. She studied Psychology at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and earned a Master's in Education at the Institute of Education of University College London (UCL), as well as a Doctorate in Education at the University of Bristol, England. Her experience ranges from the formulation of educational policies to direct intervention in classrooms, both in Chile and the United Kingdom.

In the literary field, Muñoz has published numerous works aimed at children, standing out for her focus on emotional and social issues. Among her most recognized books are Desorden Ada (2018), Juana va creciendo (2016), Juana y sus sueños (2017), and Juana y su mundo (2016), all published by Editorial Edebé Chile. Her work combines narrative with educational psychology, promoting children's bibliotherapy as a tool for emotional and cognitive development.
