Synopsis "Kavyanjali (in Hindi)"

This compilation of the great Hindi poet and writer, Gopaldas Saxena 'Neeraj' is significant in the sense that he himself has chosen these songs which are close to his heart. His fans would certainly like to have this collection. The book includes songs of different phases of his poetic journey, which began way back in 1941 and is still continuing. Neeraj has diluted the difference of Hindi and Urdu through his work, making readers of both languages admire him equally. His poems are excruciating as spirituality and have boundless humanitarian approach, while his style is readily influencing with moderate approach. In his words, "The poems of my liking represent different aspects of life in a gentle manner with novel symbols and elements. They reflect Buddhism, Sufism, the philosophy of song, as well as social and humanitarian perspective. The basic elements of my songs, love and compassion, will also find way into your hearts."
