Die Urteilskraft hat für Kant zwei Ausprägungen: Die bestimmende und die reflektierende. Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) was a German philosopher and one of the most influential figures in modern philosophy. His thinking laid the foundations of transcendental idealism, focused on the relationship between experience and reason. Among his most important works is Critique of Pure Reason (1781), where he analyzes the limits of human knowledge. He also wrote Critique of Practical Reason (1788), focused on morality, and Critique of Judgment (1790), which addresses aesthetics and teleology.

Additionally, in Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals (1785), he presented his famous theory of the categorical imperative, the cornerstone of his ethics. His ideas on enlightenment, morality, and epistemology continue to influence philosophy and social sciences.
