Óscar Alonso, known artistically as 72 Kilos, is an illustrator and advertiser from Bilbao born in 1983. His pseudonym comes from a personal bet in 2008 to lose weight, going from 92 to 72 kilos in one year, an experience he shared through drawings and reflections on his blog. Among his most notable works are "The Lives We Draw" (2017), "The Things That Matter" (2019), "The World is a Gift" (2019), and "A Book With You" (2020). These publications, framed in the genre of illustration and self-help, have solidified his presence on social media, where he shares daily cartoons that inspire millions of followers.
