Synopsis "Let it Snow: Roman (in German)"

Nach dem Mordversuch an einem Mann, der ihn sexuell genötigt hatte, befindet sich Rainer, ein Mann Ende drei ig, in der Nervenklinik. Der behandelnde Arzt setzt ihn unter Druck, seine Geschichte aufzuschreiben, sonst drohe die Verlegung in eine Strafanstalt. Rainer beginnt widerwillig, findet jedoch allmählich ins Erzählen. Das Ergebnis dieses Schreibprozesses ist Let It Snow. Die Auseinandersetzung mit dem zentralen Geschehen vermeidet er anfangs. Stattdessen porträtiert er den Arzt und Mitpatienten, darunter die Nervöse und Mehdi, einen Marokkaner, der sich von einer Haschischpsychose erholt. Zwischen den beiden entsteht eine Freundschaft. Rainer erträumt sich sogar einen gemeinsamen Fluchtversuch. Schlie lich stellt er sich aber der Vergangenheit.
