Migene González-Wippler is a Puerto Rican author known for her writings on esoteric and religious topics, especially in the field of Santería and magic. Born in Puerto Rico, she holds degrees in psychology and anthropology from the University of Puerto Rico and Columbia University, where she earned a PhD in cultural anthropology. In addition to her academic background, she has worked as a scientific editor at institutions such as the American Museum of Natural History and the United Nations in Vienna.

Among her most notable works are "El libro de las sombras" (2002), "La magia de las piedras y los cristales" (2012), and "Santería: la religión" (2008). Her writings focus on exploring and explaining spiritual and magical practices, ranging from Wicca to Santería, providing readers with a deep understanding of these traditions.
