Synopsis "Lone Wolfn. 13"

Al clan Yagyu le quedan pocos hombres para consumar su venganza, así que prepara un ataque con la ayuda de un clan escondido: un hombre y una mujer que continuarán el clan Yagyu después de matar a Itto Ogami. Entre tanto, el ronin se encontrará con un funcionario acérrimo y recto, quien no le permitirá seguir avanzando en el camino del asesino. Y Daigoro es adoptado por una familia a la que le gusta la disciplina del pequeño cachorro y quiere enseñar a su propio hijo los modales de samurái: una amistad y dos destinos distintos chocarán irremediablemente. Kazuo Koike (Ōmagari, Japan, May 8, 1936 – April 17, 2019) was an influential manga scriptwriter, novelist, and Japanese lyricist. He is widely recognized for his contribution to the seinen genre, characterized by mature and complex stories. Among his most notable works are Lone Wolf and Cub (1970–1976), in collaboration with Gōseki Kojima; Lady Snowblood (1972–1973), alongside Kazuo Kamimura; and Crying Freeman (1986–1988), with Ryōichi Ikegami. These series have been adapted to various media and have notably influenced popular culture, both in Japan and internationally.

In addition to his work as a scriptwriter, Koike founded the Gekigasonjuku manga school in 1977, where he trained prominent creators such as Rumiko Takahashi (Ranma ½) and Tetsuo Hara (Fist of the North Star). His narrative style is characterized by a combination of stylized violence, psychological depth, and detailed historical context. In recognition of his career, he was inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame in 2004 and received the Inkpot Award in 2006.
