Discernment is pivotal because it guards against the temptation of being deceived by the spirit of error. When we read any Christian publication or hear any Christian message, we must be open to receive and ready to discern the difference between the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. The spirit of error can impart accurate information but it is coupled with discouragement which becomes counter-productive to our growth. The Spirit of Truth imparts accurate information, marries it with encouragement, and gives birth to abundant life that produces transformation motivated by God's Love. Beloved of the LORD, saints of the Most High, let us learn to discern the difference. It is my prayer, while reading this Christian publication, that we discover the Spirit of Truth. The he or she that hath a hear to hear, and a heart to receive, let them hear what the Spirit is saying to those of us that have belonged to God since before the foundation of the world.
