Synopsis "Love, son John"

A tribute to a member of the Greatest Generation, and the family left behind on the home front, "Love, Son John" charts the WW II journey of one soldier from draftee through to seasoned combat infantryman. Largely told via letters written by him, his mother, friends and family, the sweeping panorama of a nation at war is brought into crystal clear focus. Coupled with details of the war as it occurs in the same timeframe as the letters, events otherwise remote and dusty come alive. The wit and wisdom that shines through these writer's words will not soon be forgotten.
