Mayhem - James K Spring

Karl arrives alone on an unfamiliar planet after a punt jump goes wrong, separated from his triumvirate partners, Showie and Strangely Brown, as well as fellow executants Hengway and Cleavie. He quickly discovers he’s in a system ruled by the tyrants Tarlan and Tuja, the same murderous despots who killed his siblings and mother.

As Karl navigates this strange world with its unique blend of magic and technology, he reunites with Showie and Strangely, and they begin building a resistance movement against the tyrannical regime.

Cleavie will do whatever it takes to free her father from indentured servitude on Cellfast 6, where the old man has quietly built an underground empire manufacturing illegal goods. Hengway, her magical partner, stands beside her, sword in hand. Warriors Jay and Naroi chase their own vendettas, and scattered resistance cells keep chipping away at Tarlan and Tuja’s rule.

Come for the magic and metal, stay for the mayhem!
