Cristian D. Miranda A. was born in Medellín, Colombia, on August 19, 1995. At the age of 10, he came into contact with the deaf community and Colombian Sign Language, which allowed him to deeply connect with this language and adopt it as his second language. Later, he became a professional as a Bachelor in Basic Education with an emphasis on Humanities and Spanish Language, at the Faculty of Education of the University of Antioquia. In 2020, he conducted an exploratory study on the reading comprehension strategies used by deaf people who use Colombian Sign Language.

With over 10 years of experience, he is currently a teacher in the area of Early Childhood. He has participated in various national academic events, presenting his bilingual proposal for hearing children in the context of Early Childhood.

Está es una obra encantadora, que remueve fibras. Más allá de la conmoción que puede generar hay que resaltar que se encuentra escrita con tesón, es una narración bien cuidada, además la temática moviliza el pensamiento y la reflexión sobre nuestra relación con los otros. Nunca me había acercado a una obra traducida a lengua de señas, eso le da un valor inconmensurable. ¡Felicitaciones al autor!
