Synopsis "Morirás Mañana: 1. El Escritor Sale a Matar (in Spanish)"

Jaime Bayly Letts (Lima, February 19, 1965) is a writer, television host, and journalist from Peru, naturalized American, based in Miami

His television career began in 1983, as an interviewer of celebrities and politicians. He was recognized for his characteristic irreverent and incisive style influenced by that of Truman Capote. He quickly gained fame for his young age and his conservative stance on Peruvian political issues. Bayly has won the Emmy award three times for his work on various American television networks. He became known as a writer in 1994; he has published a series of hedonistic and almost documentary-style novels (with which critics have a contradictory relationship). Two of them have been used as the basis for international films.
