Synopsis "Never Too Late"

Tom Kestrel is living his dream as a Roton pilot for Stardust Enterprises, but he finds only disappointment where he'd hoped to find happiness. After all, he's helping build Stardust Station, isn't he? And Stardust is preparing to build their own city at the north pole of the Moon, even though the Villages of Tomorrow are already building out Armstrong-Aldrin City. When Tom is forced by circumstances to sleep in zero-gee, memories of Kaitlyn Morrison, daughter of Jake Morrison, Mayor of Heart of Texas, break free of the cellar into which he had stuffed them to remind him why he's not happy. Haunted by the memory of her horrible death as a result of his targeting the ABM lasers aboard VonBraun Station Hub to blow up nuclear missiles aimed at Starfield Valley by Russia and China during the Second American Revolution, he calls on Sharonda Phillips, once his treating physician at the Houston Detox Center, for help after taking too many sleeping pills. Only by reliving his entry into Heaven on invitation to visit Heart of Texas and facing up to the consequences of his choices then and later can he hope to grow up and learn that it is never too late to begin again. And only by reliving those memories can he, with Sharonda's help, uncover and foil the real intent of the owner of Stardust-to destroy Armstrong-Aldrin City and claim the Moon as his own.
