Synopsis "No Loose Ends"

Participant in the VII Novel Prize "Bicentenary of the National Police 2024" Spanish Police Foundation.

Hugo Navarro, a police officer belonging to the Operational Response Group of the Spanish National Police, has the daily function of keeping the peace, protecting and serving. Normally deployed in slightly more complicated situations than a patrolman can deal with, this time he must overcome his inner demons after what happened, in the last intervention he carried out, with his team. When some of them turn their backs on him, he must move forward with only one goal in mind, not to be a living dead. For him, for his family. He will have to deal with the ghosts of the past while being offered a new opportunity for which he will be overqualified, in a purely administrative position. After a difficult year, he will be faced with the arduous task of creating a new team.
His mission: to make a new team work like a Swiss watch in the field and, who knows, to make a team feel like a family again. The downside is that, as in any family, there is always a black sheep that will disturb the stability and coexistence of the team. Only, in your work, stability and coexistence can have fatal consequences. Especially if you have to face an enemy for which you have never been prepared.
