Esta cuarta edición de Nutridatos® Manual de Nutrición Clínica se rediseñó con el propósito de que toda su información esté actualizada a la evidencia científica más reciente y que sea de fácil acceso para el profesional de la salud que ejerce en el campo de la nutrición clínica. Todos los capítulos han sido actualizados y dos de ellos fueron fraccionados: Embarazo y Lactancia. Consideramos que son dos etapas en la nutrición de la madre y el hijo que necesitan un enfoque diferencial, por lo tanto, son dos capítulos que contarán con información más completa. Esto ubica a Nutridatos como el único manual latinoamericano en su tipo y uno de los textos académicos más utilizados en las escuelas de nutrición en Latinoamérica, desde su primera edición en el 2010, hasta la actualidad.

Lo adquirí esperando tener información actualizada en comparación con la tercera edición. Sin embargo, redujeron demasiado capítulos de soporte nutricional enteral y parenteral y eliminaron temas importantes como alergias alimentarias, fibrosis quística, y parálisis cerebral entre otros.
