Kathie Heimsoth began writing years ago, crafting poems on napkins, scraps of paper, or anything she could find to write down her thoughts. After she decided to finally share her poems with others, Heimsoth began to make writing an essential part of her life. When she and her husband were both facing serious medical issues, Heimsoth realized that she could help those going through similar situations by providing hope through her writing. This realization resulted in an online blog with several comments that has turned into this inspiring book of poetry. Together, Heimsoth and her husband have raised three wonderful children. She taught high school French and English and has worked as a tutor and an adult education French teacher. She then had a fifteen-year career in a large corporation, becoming the company's Assistant Vice President of Training. Heimsoth's love of education and writing has remained with her over all these years.
