Synopsis "Perception"

As he moves into the small Sussex village, Thomas Cordwell reflects that none of the residents he is meeting is aware that he had any previous knowledge of Westenbury, much less that he owns a photograph of Loaders cottage when his great grandfather lived in it over a hundred years before. He had not mentioned this in December 1987 when he came to view it.
