Sixteen-year-old Dream was very independent despite her upbringing. Her mom Peaches was a dope addict who loved to get over on anyone that she could. This caused a lot of conflict and negativity in their home because someone was always banging on their doors and windows ready to whoop Peaches ass. Dream's older sister Kay thought she was the shit and that she could get away with anything but was always getting caught in some mess. Dream has a younger brother named Khole who stayed in the streets. Khole was influenced by street thugs, punks and a random loose booty hot ass heifer.Brent was their father, but he was never around because he had a whole family on the other side of town that his children did not know about but Peaches knows all about his unfaithfulness. Peaches and Brent have been married for twenty-two years. Peaches don't have the slightest idea what is going on with Dream until the unexpected happens because she is barely home herself. Peaches have become depressed and anxious. Peaches don't want to be alone with her children and want Brent back, but he doesn't want his wife or their children anymore. This doesn't sit well with Peaches and causes her to be mentally unstable. She tired to do what was right but just could not function correctly without her husband, so she sought out doctors to help her but all they did was feed her some pills that did not help. Finally, one day Peaches refused to keep taking the pills because they made her feel like a fucking zombie. Without her medications, she made poor decisions that led to the coke and unprotected sex lifestyle. Peaches new bad habits kept her away from home for long periods of time. Whenever Peaches does decide to sleep in her bed she is either too high or drunk to see about her children. Peaches urges to get high will affect her children greatly especially young Dream.
