Synopsis "Playing For Keeps"

Mayor Samuel Jammison, Jr. is a good man, a beloved civil rights hero and a dedicated public servant. One night while he is at a fundraiser formally announcing his plans to seek a third term, his daughter is kidnapped and her boy friend viciously murdered in front of his own home. Making matters worse, the National Guard is called in and a dusk to dawn curfew ordered after angry rioters attack innocent people, vandalize businesses and set dozens of fires. Everything begins to unravel. Who has taken Debbie? The Policeman's Union? The Mafia? Turns out they both have motives. Turns out there is also a leak in the Mayor's office. Which one of his aides has sold him out? And who is the 'Man', the mysterious assassin who seems to know everyone's moves before they do? Nick Shannon, a 'lone wolf' private investigator has to get to the bottom of it soon... because time is running out.
