Synopsis "Quatrosync"

Selena Paytons, xxSwordGurlxx, relives her traumatic teenage radicalization on the outdated medium of the internet blog. Acting on a friend's advice, she hopes that recounting the path of radicalization which drove her into exile will help her confront the grief and guilt she has spent years outrunning. A path that split between the influence of two mentors who, like an angel and demon on her shoulders, taught her opposing visions of political change. Tiedemann, pirate and inventor of the Quatrosync 3D printer, who taught her non-violent hacktivism, and Bro_Anon, a mysterious organizer charismatically guiding her toward extremism. Selena found in them the guidance her broken parents never could provide. All but self-sufficient at sixteen, Selena tore up her city streets in AR with her friend Vengeance Machine, and relentlessly coded for crypto. Her work funded a secret garden of 3D printers deep in the forests north of Phoenix where she trained herself for armed protest against the genetics company Mendacin. Who else besides her and her friends could possibly stop them from genetically enslaving the world? Maybe if Selena can figure out how to overcome the loss and betrayal which led her to become a murderer, she can figure out what she's good for. Or at least, figure out how to cope with the increasingly violent socio-political turmoil plaguing the community that took her in, given the bubbling tensions over control of the nearby poppy fields...
