Synopsis "Quiet Christmas"

Quiet Christmas by Janet Stimson with settings by Steve Rice and Karen Janes is a collection of sixteen original songs set in the holiday season. They are not all quiet. Included are subjects such as romantic love, a nativity lullaby, a call for peace, a tribute to soldiers abroad, a bad-boy Santa, and in the title song, Quiet Christmas, an older person's wistful memories of past holidays. The catchy tunes are set to accompaniments in jazz, spiritual, folk and classical styles. These songs are a great alternative to popular holiday standards for entertainers looking to broaden their repertoire. Meant for all voices.
