Synopsis "Rest "

Does your to-do list seem never-ending, or time with God lessened by other obligations on your mind? You're not alone in feeling life is only getting busier each year. Claiming to be prone to busyness, author Ginger Levi felt the Holy Spirit telling her to rest in God's arms, but Ginger wasn't sure how to trade stress for rest. In her new book, Rest; Your Place of Victory, Ginger sought the Bible and quiet time with God to discover that distraction is a tactic of Satan to prevent needed rest and yielding our lives to God. She encourages readers to first trust God above all else by accepting His invitation to come empty to be filled; then put aside life's demands to stay connected to the Bible and find comforting rest in the Savior. As we abide in Jesus, we actively wait and rest in God, removed from life's obligations.
