Schwere postpartale Blutungen (PPH) sind eine wichtige und vermeidbare Ursache für die Müttersterblichkeit sowohl in den Industrie- als auch in den Entwicklungsländern.Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, das epidemiologische und klinische Profil von Frauen zu untersuchen, die wegen PPH eine chirurgische Behandlung benötigten, und die verschiedenen in diesem Zusammenhang angewandten chirurgischen Techniken zu bewerten.Es handelt sich um eine deskriptive retrospektive Studie, in der 80 Fälle von schwerer PPH, die eine chirurgische Behandlung erforderten, über einen Zeitraum von 6 Jahren (2015-2021) im Zentrum für Mutterschaft und Neonatologie in Monastir erfasst wurden.
