Synopsis "Slumgods"

Slum Gods is a deeply moving memoir that chronicles the lives of children living on railway platforms, in urban slums, and in forgotten corners of society. Having left behind a successful career as a civil engineer, Ravi Rai dedicated his life to serving these children, believing he was helping to transform their lives. Over time, however, he discovered a greater truth: it was the children who transformed him. Their resilience in the face of hardship, their capacity for joy despite suffering, and their unwavering spirit became his greatest teachers. Ravi came to value these children no less than gods, for they awakened within him compassion, humility, purpose, and a deeper understanding of humanity. Slum Gods is a powerful testament to the transformative power of love, service, and the hidden divinity that resides in every human being.
