Steve Henry is an American author and illustrator specialized in children's literature. His works are characterized by colorful illustrations and simple narratives designed for beginner readers. Besides his work in books, he has contributed to editorial illustration and product design. His style is influenced by artists like Matisse and Miró, as well as illustrators like Ludwig Bemelmans. He currently teaches illustration at Pratt Institute.
