Adela Basch (Buenos Aires, November 23, 1946) is a renowned Argentine writer, playwright, poet, and translator, specializing in children's and youth literature. After graduating in Literature from the University of Buenos Aires, she began her career as a translator and teacher, but soon turned to writing and theater.
