Synopsis "Territorial Space and Transportation Coordinated Development"

Territorial space and transportation are closely related to each other. The interaction mechanism and coordinated development of the two are important research directions of academic concern. On the one hand, transportation networks are the skeleton of national and regional development, and the comprehensive transportation system provided by highways, railways, aviation, and water promotes the development of territorial space. On the other hand, the pressure of transportation infrastructure and transportation activities on the protection of territorial space such as ecological and agricultural land is also increasing. The question of how to coordinate the relationship between development and protection, use the network effect of transportation to empower regional development, and improve the environmental impact of the transportation field, thereby enhancing regional sustainability, is a key scientific issue that needs to be studied urgently.
