John Dickie is a historian and journalist. Currently, he is a full professor of Italian Studies at University College London, and author of numerous books and articles about Italy and Italians. With the publication of Cosa Nostra (Debate, 2008) he proved to be one of the world's leading experts on the history of the Italian mafia. He is also the author of Delizia (Debate, 2014), a delicious review of the history of Italian food, and History of the Mafia (Debate, 2015)
