If a house has no planets in it, use the ruler of the sign in that house to see what effect that house has on your writing. For example: If you have no planets in the first house, and you are Gemini rising, look at Mercury in Gemini in the first house.If you have no planets in the second house, and you are Cancer rising, look at the Sun in Leo in the second house.
