Neil Patrick Harris, born on June 15, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is an American actor, singer, writer, magician, and director. Known for his roles on television, such as the protagonist of Doogie Howser, M.D. and Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother, Harris has also ventured into children's and young adult literature.
In 2014, he published his autobiography Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography. Subsequently, he started the series The Magic Misfits, with The Magic Misfits 1: The Rebel Magicians in 2017, followed by three sequels until 2020. These works, aimed at young audiences, combine magic and adventure. Although Harris has received multiple awards for his acting career, no specific awards for his literary publications are recorded.
