Sam Heughan is an award-winning actor and philanthropist, best known for his leading role as Jamie Fraser in the hit series Outlander. From his early days at the Royal Court Theatre to his most recent participation in the action movie Bloodshot, Sam has worked in theater, film, and television for nearly two decades. With rising success and fame, Sam has also supported and fundraised for numerous prominent charities, such as Marie Curie UK and Blood Cancer UK. In recent years, he has helped raise over five million dollars for leukemia research, palliative care, and testicular cancer awareness. For his outstanding philanthropic contribution and success in the arts, the University of Glasgow and the University of Stirling named him an honorary doctor in 2019.

Notable for his roles as Dougal MacKenzie in the Outlander series, the fierce dwarf Dwalin in The Hobbit trilogy, and the Saint of Killers in AMC's cult series Preacher. He has worked in plays around the world, from productions at the Royal Court Theatre in London to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. He's thrilled because his childhood dream of publishing a book has finally come true!
