This book is dedicated to my teenage son, my sunshine, Jye A. A. Brown.

There are no words vast enough to hold the depth of my love for you. If love could be measured, mine would reach beyond limits-beyond language, beyond understanding. I love you more than words could ever fully express.

You are the light that guides me, the reason I rise, and the purpose that keeps me grounded. Loving you has taught me what it truly means to give without condition, to stand without wavering, and to believe without fear.

If a human can embody agape love-pure, selfless, unwavering love-I know that I feel that for you.

I also want you to know this: navigating behavioral health is not always easy. At times, it can feel uncomfortable, unfamiliar, or even overwhelming. But it is not a curse, and it does not define who you are. It is only a part of your journey-not your identity. You are so much greater than any challenge you may face.

I promise to show up for you-to stand beside you, support you, fight for you, and believe in you-for every day that I am given on this earth. Until my last breath, you will never walk this life alone.
