Synopsis "The Kill Artist "

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Other Woman comes the first novel in the thrilling series featuring legendary assassin Gabriel Allon. Immersed in the quiet, meticulous life of an art restorer, former Israeli intelligence operative Gabriel Allon keeps his past well behind him. But now he is being called back into the game--and teamed with an agent who hides behind her own mask...as a beautiful fashion model. Their target: a cunning terrorist on one last killing spree, a Palestinian zealot who played a dark part in Gabriel's past. And what begins as a manhunt turns into a globe-spanning duel fueled by both political intrigue and deep personal passions...

Daniel Silva is the award-winning and New York Times best-selling author of The Unlikely Spy, The Mark of the Assassin, The Marching Season, The Kill Artist, The English Assassin, The Confessor, A Death in Vienna, Prince of Fire, The Messenger, The Secret Servant, Moscow Rules, The Defector, The Rembrandt Affair, Portrait of a Spy, The Fallen Angel, The English Girl, The Heist, The English Spy, The Black Widow, The House of Spies, The Other Woman, The New Girl, The Order, and The Cellist

Although he began his professional career as a journalist, Silva soon discovered his passion for fiction writing. He studied at California State University, Fresno, and worked as a correspondent for United Press International (UPI), which allowed him to cover key events around the world, including conflicts in the Middle East. This experience deeply marked his worldview and literary approach

In 1997, Silva published his first novel, The Unlikely Spy, which received excellent reviews and marked the beginning of a prolific literary career. However, it was with The Confessor (2003) and the creation of his iconic character Gabriel Allon, an Israeli art restorer and spy, that he achieved international success. Allon became the protagonist of a series of more than 20 novels, including acclaimed works like The English Assassin (2002), The New Girl (2019), and The Order (2020)

Silva's writing is noted for its historical accuracy, deep knowledge of the intelligence world, and ability to explore contemporary ethical and political dilemmas. His books, translated into more than 30 languages, have repeatedly appeared on the New York Times bestseller lists
