THE PACT tells the story of two psychopaths at large. They have killed. They will kill again.

They are calm, polite, and intelligent. They feel nothing, not even for themselves. They are predators. They dine with their victim. And they are us.

Blondie and The Kid are lovers, but they do not make love. Their world is a fantasy of their making. They act as normal, on the edge, triggers cocked. They are one, the perfect partnership. And again, they are us.

THE PACT, asks the question: What does it take for mankind to overcome the psychic illness affecting our society? Blondie and The Kid argue that, to kill is legal. ''If our leaders do it, there is no wrong,'' they say. ''If there is no wrong, there is no right.''

How does society crawl from the slime of our birth?

Blondie and The Kid express their inner calling. And again, they profess. ''We have the cure.''
