Synopsis "The Potential"

Diary thoughts splattered across pages, one poem at a time. For everyone who was asked, "Who do you want to be when you grow up?" and never letting you forget what you said, decades ago. For the ones who were strapped with everything they wanted you to be. For those of us, whose potential became the woven history behind the cages, we couldn't leave. Four stages. One life. A story told through poetry. The Staring The Slipping Turbulence The Living This time capsule envelops the wounds of childhood, uncertain teenage years, surviving early twenties and making it to the late twenties, in the midst of all the background noise pumping from every room that you step into. Collection of scattered fragments bound within the pages. Honoring coming of age, at the time that's right for each of us.
