Synopsis "The Safari Mitzi Collection"

Carolyn and I have been writing songs since 1997. Our first song was "SafariMitzi." Over the years, we've gained a wealth of musical knowledge and expertise fromarrangements by Frank Metis, Noah Luna, Alexis Lamb, and Michael Gancz. Frank, inparticular, took me under his wing like a father, providing the encouragement I neededwhen I first started out. I've also composed several songs on my own, and all of them areoriginal, just like Carolyn's lyrics.This collection represents the Safari Mitzi Collection, carefully curated.I deliberately avoid writing commercially mundane songs for the younger iPhonegeneration, who often prefer loud noise with booming effects produced on a computerusing drum machines. It's not just about creating hits in genres like country, hip-hop, orrap; sentimentality doesn't always resonate these days. While some of my songs may seemoutdated, they come straight from the heart. Perhaps people will appreciate them even ahundred years from now.Carolyn and I continue to reside in Ft. Myers, where we've welcomed a new addition to ourfamily: "Sassy," a loving cat we rescued from an animal shelter. She's quite the character, running the household and keeping her brother Ollie in check.
