Synopsis "The Slavers"

The Slavers is a well-researched, fact-based historical novel that tells a story of slavery with all the sex and violence of 1702-1704. It begins in London's Newgate Prison and progresses through Madeira to the huge slave market at Cape Coast Castle in Africa thence to Barbados and finally, Jamaica. It is history in the raw and is told in the language of that era so be warned, if you have gentle sensibilities this may not be the book for you. On the other hand if you like your heroes and anti-heroes larger than life and your heroines strong and sultry then start your journey in that cold, damp and vermin infested Newgate Prison. Don't worry, you won't be there long.
