Be word and mind-focused. The authority of God resides within our understanding and obedience to the Word. A skilled thought life is obtained through recognizing our identity in Christ and aligning our words and thoughts to the Word, not the circumstances that surround us.

Surrendering to God, reading His Word, and digesting His truth are the remedies to destroy opposition in our lives, and our souls will prosper. Third John chapter 2 (NKJV) states, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."

That is the way it is. God’s Word is unchangeable, unfailing, and the only source of power to save and to heal.

The author describes her success in defeating trauma through the Word. Convinced as a child that God was against her, her focus became what she could tangibly see around her--nefarious.

Silenced at a young age, hell sought to shut her mouth and destroy her mind by keeping secrets of the heart. Secrets formed foundations of lies that were in opposition to God, allowing hell’s bondage to hold her captive to the very thing that sought to destroy her.

The author shares the life-threatening misfortunes of childhood that effectively tormented her mind and taught her how to speak word curses against herself. Surrendering to God, her thoughts were transformed, her story rewritten, and a miraculous rescue mission completed. Her life is a display of God’s miracle-working power!
