Synopsis "There are Moms way Worse Than You: Irrefutable Proof That you are Indeed a Fantastic Parent "

A hilarious and reassuring gift for every mom: because we're all doing the best we can, and the natural world is filled with moms worse than you! A mom giraffe is pretty nice until the fetus drops. She'll birth a newborn baby calf, then kick him 'til he walks. Whenever you feel guilty that you haven't cleaned the house: Sexton beetles raise their kids in a decomposing mouse. A koala mom will feed her kids her own poop. Yes, poop. Panda moms will abandon one twin because raising two is, well, just too much. And every now and then a cuddly little hamster mom will --yup-- eat her newborn pups. These and other true facts from the animal kingdom offer a hilarious reality check on what constitutes "good parenting." So, human mother, time to stop worrying about the job you're doing --because you're a great mom.

Priscilla Carpenter Witte is an illustrator, painter, and muralist based in Los Angeles. From a young age, she always had a deep love for the arts. At 19, after two years dabbling in child psychology, she took a summer trip to Southern California and never looked back. It was instant love! The Californian lifestyle and sun struck her directly. With new places to visit, new friends, new experiences, and new adventures she was living, she immediately felt the need to capture and create!

After producing a small collection of drawing works, she held her first exhibition in a loft in Venice, which was a total success and a driving force to continue making art.

Gradually, projects began to come her way. As people started to recognize her work, she became a snowball for getting more work! Soon she was painting murals in some of the top restaurants and tech companies in Los Angeles, was sent to New York to create custom sneakers for Vogue editors, and flew to Croatia to paint a mural and make sketches for the rooms of a boutique hotel. She traveled to Russia

to paint a lifeguard tower on the Black Sea, and then flew to Italy to be the resident artist at the Catalyst Art Retreat in Tuscany.

Next stop Bali, Indonesia to paint a house!

She also had the opportunity to work with some wonderful companies like GT's Kombucha, WeTransfer, Budlight, Redbull, Schwarzhopf, Keds, Ipsy, Nordstrom, Top Shop, Credit Karma, Marriott...to name a few.

“My style is simplistic, straightforward, quirky, identifiable, and most importantly, ME!”, she reflects.
