It was very exciting and also a little troubling. Her grandmother always said, 'to pray continually, like the Bible says.' This was a good time to start praying continually. So she whispered, "Dear God, please, help us." She whispered it over and over. She heard a noise and looked at Rose. They were both scared. Rose always says that homework only causes trouble. Rose was going to use this experience as a reminder, every single day of their lives. Of course Rose was right, homework did cause this trouble!
