Synopsis "Triste Lamento (in Spanish)"

Este poemario, titulado Triste lamento, consta de treinta y seis sonetos de verso libre. Relatan la experiencia del autor tras ser internado en urgencias del hospital La Paz de Madrid, donde se le realizan diversas pruebas, como una arteriografía cerebral. Por la noche, escucha las noticias con una radio pegada al oído para conectarse con el mundo exterior. En su nuevo mundo claustrofóbico aparecen su compañero de habitación, José, y un enfermero muy joven en prácticas, Samuel. Los versos son repetitivos, como las noticias de la radio. La historia concluye cuando recibe el alta para volver a casa, donde rememora su vida anterior al internamiento hospitalario.
