Unseen Love - Alexandra Spencer

Aarav's been in love with Eshaal for years, but she's never really seen him in that way-just another classmate....And with every day that goes by, his feelings for her started to get deeper, even tho she'll probably never notice. One moment changed everything. Now, he looks at her like a stranger... and she has no idea why. "He loved only one girl throughout his whole life." "From beginning to end, he loved only her."

He would come back home every afternoon, dropping his bag with a sigh, and mumbling,

"School is so boring, mummy..."

His mother, being a teacher herself, would just ruffle his hair and laugh.

It was the third day of school when something changed...

Aarav rested his cheek on his desk, half-listening to the chatter around, the door creaked open.

Their class teacher walked in, and behind her stood a little girl - new, nervous, clutching the hem of her dress tightly.

The teacher beamed and said,"Everyone, we have a new student joining us today."

Aarav lifted his head lazily... and then he saw her...

He kept staring without realizing...

The girl fumbled with her words, her voice soft and shaky:

"Good morning everyone...

my name is..."

She hesitated, biting her lip nervously.

The teacher gave her a gentle nod."Go ahead, beta. It's okay."

Taking a deep breath, the girl finally said,

"My name is... Eshaal."

The little boy (Aarav) smiled unknowingly..

under his breath ,

aarav whispered:

"Eshaal..."
