Paloma Sánchez-Garnica (Madrid, 1962) holds degrees in Law and Geography and History. Author of El gran arcano (2006) and La brisa de Oriente (2009), her novel El alma de las piedras (2010) was very successful among readers. Las tres heridas (2012) and, especially, La sonata del silencio, which was adapted into a TV series on TVE, marked her recognition among critics and readers as a writer with a strong literary personality. With Mi recuerdo es más fuerte que tu olvido, which had five editions published and has been translated into all English-speaking countries, she won the Fernando Lara Novel Award 2016.
